MAGWAY DIVISION – It was reported that the three terrorist junta’s ration convoy with three military trucks on Ann – Pa Dan Road in Ngape Township, and two military trucks at least nine junta soldiers were killed, according to Mr. Naung Thurein, a military official of People’s Revolution Alliance – Magway (PRA – Magway).
The attack on the ration convoy, which included about 50 junta soldiers, took place at around 1:00 p.m., on December 4, PRA – Magway said.
The three military vehicles were attacked by landmines, damaging two of them, and have been unable to move ahead until now, said Mr. Naung Thurein.
“Our military objective was to prevent these vehicles from moving ahead, and we retreated when the junta convoy was unable to move ahead,” he said.
In addition, PRA – Magway, Asho Chin Defence Force (ACDF) and Minbu District Battalion (2) jointly attacked the terrorist junta column consists of 90 soldiers that carried out offensive attacks on Bone Baw Village of Ngape Township, on November 23, killing 14 junta soldiers and injuring many others, according to PRA-Magway.
It was reported that the clashes occurred as the Revolutionary Forces had blocked and attacked the terrorist junta soldiers who fled from Western Command in Ann Town in Rakhine State, which was attacked by Arakan Army (AA), after being defeated in war.
In the fighting in November and the first week of December, PRA-Magway reported that nearly 50 junta forces were eliminated, and eight small arms, ammunition, and military equipment were seized.
The joint forces of the Asho Chin Defence Force (ACDF), New Society Army (NSA), and People Independence Army (PIA) announced on December 4 that they had captured 12 junta forces along with their weapons, including a captain who fled from Ann Town after losing the war.
