YANGON DIVISION – Junta Council’s media said that the Navy of junta council, which has lost many townships in Rakhine State, launched one of the largest frigates for use in the navy.
It is known that Min Aung Hlaing himself attended the commissioning ceremony on the 24th of December 2018, which is named “Thalon Min” (King Thalon) and is 135 meters long.
It is known that the launching ceremony of the frigate, named “Thalon Min”, was held at the Naval Shipyard Headquarters in Thanlyin, Yangon division.
Press releases stated that it was built by the Junta Council’s Navy to suppress local enemies and to defend against foreign invaders, it was built to honor King Thalon.
At present, while many townships on the Rakhine coast have lost control of the junta council, the junta council has held the ceremony of launching a navy warship.
At least 17 warships of the Terrorist War Council have already been destroyed by the AA and KIA led revolutionary forces.
KIA attacked and destroyed 8 warships of the Terrorist Junta Council. On the morning of September 17th, KIA and PDF joint forces attacked the 7 ships of junta council that were sailing from Shwegu to Bahmo in Kachin State, 2 of them were sunk and 4 were destroyed by fire. In addition, 2 warships were also shot and captured in Mya Taung, Tigyaing township, Sagaing Division.
In addition to this, from February 7th to 13th this year, during the 6-day naval battle, the Arakan Army AA was able to attack and destroy a total of 3 warships and 2 battleships of the Junta Council. Moreover, 4 other warships were damaged to the point of being unrepairable, according to AA’s statement.
