MYANMAR – The Arakan Army (AA) announced on December 29 that it will remain as a good friend of its ethnic brothers in order to achieve all political aspirations of the oppressed people.
The Arakan Army said it will stand strongly as a good friend of the ethnic people of Myanmar to fully achieve the political aspirations of the oppressed people of Myanmar.
It was also mentioned that the Arakan resistance government welcomes any foreign direct investment that benefits the Arakan State and supports the regional development of the region, and guarantees the life and safety of the projects and the investors. AA also said that it is willing to cooperate with the companies to ensure continued operations of foreign investments and projects.
AA added that the Arakan offensive by AA that began on November 13, 2023 mainly intends to free the people of Arakan Region and achieve their wishes but that it believes it will also directly support the liberation of the oppressed people of Myanmar, adding that the AA had actively participated alongside the Kokang and Ta’ang organisations under the lead of China in sectors such as the stability of China-Myanmar border and the eradication of online scam rings.
AA also stated that it is always ready to resolve the current Myanmar affairs via political means instead of military means.
The statement also mentioned that the ULA/AA is a political organisation and a leading armed revolution organisation that has been consistently working for the equality of the people living in Rakhine State and to liberate the entire Rakhine State from the dictators, with the support of the Arakan people.
