ARAKAN STATE: A spokesman of Arakan Army (AA) Mr. Khaing Thukha said, “the whole headquarter of western military command in Ann, Arakan State has been captured and second commander of military region Brigadier General Thaung Tun and Brigadier General Kyaw Kyaw Than have been caught alive.”
At midday of 12 noon on December 20, the entire headquarter of western military command in Ann had been captured and second commander of military region Brigadier General Thaung Tun and the head of the division Brigadier General Kyaw Kyaw Than had been caught alive.
“Around 12 noon on December 20, the whole headquarter of western military command was captured. The second commander of western military command Brigadier General Thaung Tun and the head of military department Brigadier General Kyaw Kyaw Than were caught alive. The escaped soldiers of the junta’s council were followed to be caught,” said by AA spokesman Mr. Khaing Thukha.
