MANDALAY DIVISION – It was reported that the terrorist junta army carried out aerial bombings with two powered parachutes on Ywar Tan Shey Village in Taungtha Township, killing a woman, and seriously injuring two civilians, including a 3-year-old child, according to an official of Taungtha People Action Committee.
On January 28, at around 1:30 a.m., the terrorist junta’s two powered parachutes taking off from Shan Te airbase in Meiktila Town, bombarded on Ywar Tan Shey Village.
The terrorist junta’s bombing attacks killed Ms. Pu in her 26s, on the spot, seriously injured a 30-year-old man and a 3-year-old child, and destroyed a house.
“At around 1:30 a.m., today, the junta’s two powered parachutes taking off from Shan Te airbase in Meiktila Town, bombarded on Ywar Tan Shey Village, damaging and destroying a civilian’s house. Ms. Pu in her 26s, was killed on the spot. A 30-year-old man was seriously injured. And also, a 3-year-old child was seriously injured,” said the official of Taungtha People Action Committee.
The Taungtha People Action Committee has warned that the villages in Taungtha Township are being bombed by the terrorist junta army with powered parachutes without any reason, and that they should dig bomb shelters and take precautions if they hear the sound of powered parachutes.
