MYANMAR – Local people said that tens of thousands of people from 12 wards were fleeing to safety as a terrorist army column entered the Kamma of the Magway division.
On the afternoon of December 25th, the terrorist military council troops stationed in the villages of Nyaung Jipin and Yayla Lae entered Kamma and the people were fleeing.
Due to the invasion of the terrorist army, tens of thousands of people from 12 wards and 18 surrounding villages have fled to safety.
A local resident said that “The condition of damage to the houses and the arrest of people are still unknown. The military dogs are still in Kamma. They came out of the Nyaung Jipin and Yayla Lae villages. About 18 villages in 12 wards of the city and neighboring villages are fleeing.”
Similarly, in Budalin township of the Sagaing division, the terrorist army arrested more than 50 people as human shields and sent them into line, a local journalist said.
The terrorist soldiers who came out of North Western Command by cars, captured the people, travellers and vendors from the villages of Zee Taw village, Shwe Chaung Lae, Tharetoro and Kanthit. Then use them as human shields and maneuvering in columns.
“Three big cars entered Budalin in full force, arresting the people and carrying out military operations. Now the column is still moving. It remains near the village of the Kyiping Chaung. I would like to urge the people in Budalin to stay connected to the news and avoid it in time,” said a local journalist.
The soldiers of the terrorist war council are arresting the people along the road as human shields and marching. In order to prevent them, it needs to be avoided from traveling on the Monywa – Budalin road, as for the people of the villages, if the terrorist army marches, they should avoid it in time and have military knowledge. Local organizations have issued warnings to people to live with caution.
