TANINTHARYI DIVISION – The Myeik People Defense Body announced that a terrorist army soldier who took refuge in the People’s Defense Body of Myeik township, Tanintharyi Division, was awarded 7,600,000 kyats.
It was reported on December 6 that the People’s Arms team handed over 7,600,000 Kyats for entering into the Myeik People Defense Body with one MA 2 rifle, two grenades and 184 rounds of ammunition on September 21st.
That soldier is from the 103rd Battalion of the enemy army based in Myeik. It is known that he joined the revolutionary forces when he had a chance. He was from the military service batch (1) of military service at Tonbyogyi camp.
