KACHIN STATE: It was reported that a revolutionary public rally against the military dictator and the movement to support Kachin Independence Army (KIA), People’s Defence Force (PDF) and National Unity Government (NUG) had been organised in Hpakant, Kachin state as the commemoration of “(77) th Independence Day” falls on January 4.
The Hpakant civilians reportedly prayed for KIA, KPDF and its alliances, which are operating to take over the towns in the whole Kachin state, to achieve victory in every single battle. The protesters rallied , reciting the slogans “Eradicate the Military Dictatorship,” “Obliterate Fascist Army”, “Oppose Against the Army, which is burning down the civilians’ houses, killing civilians and raping the women,” and “All the Civilians Need to Join the Revolution to Achieve the Success of “Spring Revolution” in a Timely Manner.”
