MAGWAY DIVISION: A member of People’s Defence Force(PDF) died of the mine accidental explosion while preparing to attack the junta’s military column with mines in Kamma, Pakokku district, Magway division, announced by 21 Bagan People Defense Force.
The deceased comrade Byatta, 25 years, died of the accidental explosion while preparing to attack the junta’s military column with mines on January 1. The pieces from explosion hit his chest and right eye, which caused the death, said by the comrade Yakkha, a member of that force.
The comrade was fallen by accident while preparing to attack the junta’s soldiers coming to send the food rations to Myitchay township from Light Infantry Division (101) in Pakokku. Due to the accident, the revolutionary force could not attack the junta’s military column, he continued.
The comrade Byatta is a Nyaung- U local civilian and he joined 21 Bagan People Defense Force in May 2024.
Byatta was the first deceased comrade in the force and his funeral procession was performed in Kamma township.
