SAGAING DIVISION – The National Unity Government (NUG) Ministry of Human Rights stated that a movement to welcome the 76th international human rights day was held in Kanbalu Township.
Led by the Kanbalu Township People’s Administration Body (PAB) and the township human rights officer and with the cooperation of the local residents, a campaign was held on December 1 to welcome the international human rights day that falls on December 10.
The event also included a talk on human rights under the theme “may human rights prosper in the free and just land” and it is said that the People’s Defence Force (PDF) soldiers distributed pamphlets on human rights.
The Ministry of Human Rights urges to take part in the 10 D profile campaign to show that the people are not forgetting the fight to achieve true democracy that guarantees basic human rights despite the oppressions by the terrorist junta council and to honour the martyrs and heroes who fought through the various eras of revolutions against the restricted human rights.
