KAREN STATE – The Revolutionary Forces attacked and captured a frontline camp of Aung Zeya Column that carried out offensive attacks from Kawkareik Town to Myawaddy Town, seizing a large amount of weapons and ammunition, according to an official of Black Panther Column.
The allied Revolutionary Forces attacked and captured a frontline camp of Aung Zeya Column arriving at the foot of Dawna Mountain in Kawkareik Township, on January 12, and a large amount of weapons and ammunition. He said that there were casualties among the terrorist junta forces, but the details have not yet been confirmed.
“We attacked and captured a frontline camp of Aung Zeya Column, on January 12. The exact number of casualties is not yet known. There is fighting every day. There are also airstrikes,” said the official of Black Panther Column.
The attack was carried out by the Black Panther Column, Cobra Column and Venom Column, the joint columns of Tactic 32 under People’s Defence Force. No revolutionary forces were reported to have been injured.
“We are continuing our operations and are attacking the military junta every day. The military junta has become weaker because of our attacks, so we urge the people not to give up,” said a Black Panther’s official.
