SAGAING DIVISION – A knowledge sharing session on gender based violence and ways to defend against airstrikes was held at a township level people centered school in Sagaing Division alongside the white ribbon campaign, announced the Ministry of Women, Youth and Children, the National Unity Government.
The event held on November 29 morning was attended by civilians and students and it is said that the township people’s administration body provided stationaries.
The township officers of the Ministry of Women, Youth and Children reportedly presented the history behind November 25, the international day against violence on women and the aims of the 16 days campaign and urged everyone to participate to end sexual violence against women and girls.
