YANGON DIVISION – A junta ship set sail towards Rakhine State from Bo Aung Kyaw Port also known as The Myanmar Terminal (TMT), carrying weapons, fuel, rations and new recruits as well as freshly recovered soldiers, reported a source within the military.
The ship, Pyi Taw Aye 3, reportedly left the TMT port around 3 p.m. on December 2, likely headed towards Kyaukphyu or Sittwe. The ship was said to have been loaded with weapons and ammunition, fuel and rations as well as around seven military vehicles and the junta soldiers on board were wearing the badges of the Western Command, Infantry Division 77 and Yangon Division Command.
It is said that the soldiers on board the ship included those who were recently forcibly conscripted as well as those who just recovered from their injuries
“The navy supply ship, Pyi Taw Aye 3, departed from Bo Aung Kyaw TMT port. It is reportedly headed to Kyaukphyu and Sittwe. It was loaded with weapons, diesel and rations. In addition, there were also around seven military vehicles and soldiers with the Rakhine badges (Western Command), Division 77 badges and Yangon Division badges. Some of those soldiers were in crutches, probably returning those discharged from the hospital. Some were veterans,” said the military source.
The terrorist junta council is reinforcing its troops in Rakhine State from the air and the sea in a desperate attempt to defend against the offensive of the Arakan Army, according to sources in the military.
