MANDALAY DIVISION – According to the accountable person of Myingyan township People Defense Force, a battle broke out between the revolutionary forces and the fascist junta council troops who conducted offensive attacks towards Thit Yone village, Myingyan township, Mandalay division. During the battles, two revolutionary comrades sacrificed their lives for the country. And many junta council casualties were resulted in.
It has been reported that a battle broke out between the revolutionary forces and the fascist junta council troops after the junta council troops conducting offensive attacks towards Thit Yone village at around 6 a.m. on December 6.
During the battles many junta council troops were said to have been killed and two revolutionary comrades sacrificed their lives for the country. As the defeated junta council troops fired heavy weapons towards Thit Yone village, three civilians were reportedly killed and one civilian was injured.
Moreover, the atrocious junta council troops raided the village and set around 200 civilian houses on fire. Following they retreated back to Myingyan town.
The accountable person of Myingyan township People Defense Force mentioned that “around 200 civilian houses in Thit Yone village were torched by the arsonist junta council troops. The dogs (the junta council troops) started raiding at around 6 a.m. and started torching at around 7 a.m. The battle also broke out against the revolutionary forces. During the battle, many junta council casualties were resulted in. Two revolutionary comrades also sacrificed their lives for the country. As they (the junta council troops) fired heavy weapons towards Thit Yone village, three civilians were killed and one civilian was injured. The number of the junta council casualties was not yet known. Many junta council troops were also injured. The inhumane junta council troops who don’t have the humanity and who have never lived in a house would behave how they used to behave. If they are dare, they should fight like a war.”
