Magway Division – According to reports, on January 24, revolutionary forces jointly attacked the military junta’s local gangsters and police at the Khaing Lal Police Station in Pauk Township. In the attack, the number of casualties on junta side could not be confirmed, and the revolutionary forces were able to retreat without injury. During the battle, the military attacked with heavy weapons and also airstrikes.
The attack was carried out jointly by the Pakokku District People Defense Forces and Units from Pauk Township and Myaing Township.
“The Khaing Lal Police Station is a military junta’s base that revolutionary forces have been continuously attacking. It is difficult to destroy due to its strong bunkers and trenches. However, every revolutionary forces attack, there are dying or wounded soldiers and polices,” said a local revolutionary news source.
The Khaing Lal Police Station in Pauk Township was attacked with 6 drones and over 200 bombs between November 4 and November 11, 2024.
