TANINTHARYI DIVISION – The Kamyawkin Bridge checkpoint of the terrorist junta council at the entrance to Dawei was attacked and seven junta soldiers were killed, according to an official from Ye Phyu People’s Defence Force (YPPDF).
The junta checkpoint known for oppressing, extorting and unreasonably abducting people was attacked around 7 p.m. on January 27 and the attack lasted for about half an hour.
It is said that at least seven junta soldiers were killed and many were injured during the attack while the members of the revolutionary forces were unharmed.
The attack was carried out by DNLA, YPPDF and FPF under the lead of Duraka Column.
The revolutionary forces has advised the civilians to be vigilant of the military situation as it is a time of accelerated military operations across the country and also urged the junta forces seeking to join the side of the people to surrender and enter the legal fold quickly.
