SAGAING DIVISION – Phaungpyin Township People’s Administration Body (PAB) stated that representatives were selected for the villages and village tracts in Prefecture 2 of Phaungpyin Township, Mawlite District that are outside the administration chain.
The representative for Prefecture 2 was selected first and the representatives for Prefecture 3 and 4 were selected between January 20 and 22, following the guidelines issued and confirmed by the Transitional Regional People’s Administration Implementation Committee of the National Unity Government.
The Southern Phaungpyin Township Coordination Team, delegated by the Township PAB for the selection, was said to have invited local residents and community elders as well.
The selection was for Prefecture 3 and 4 where there are four villages and a representative was selected for each group.
