SAGAING DIVISION – According to Mr. Moe Gyo from the Lighting column, the revolutionary alliance forces blasted the junta council convoy leaving from the Monywa town Western Regional Command, two times. Following that as the fascist junta council troops recklessly opened fire, one civilian was said to have been killed.
At around 10:50 a.m. on January 21, the revolutionary forces blasted three junta council vehicles covered in tarpaulins which left from Monywa-based Western Regional Command. On the same day, the revolutionary forces also blasted another junta council convoy consisting of ten vehicles including an armored vehicle, at around 3 p.m.
The number of junta council casualties and the damages of the junta council vehicles cannot be confirmed yet. After the attack, the revolutionary forces managed to retreat successfully.
During the attack, as the junta council troops recklessly opened fire, a passerby woman was said to have been killed.
Mr. Moe Gyo from the Lighting column mentioned that “we blasted the junta council vehicles which left from the Western Regional Command two times. The number of the junta council casualties and the damages of the junta council vehicles are still under investigation.”
That attack was jointly carried out by Eleven People Defense Force, Nway Oo Brothers Column, Bo Naing – Lay Bway Mone Taing People Defense Force (Monywa District battalion 15 – company 3) and Sagaing district battalion 5.
