MYANMAR – Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than of the National Unity Government stated that Ayeyarwaddy Division will become an important war front in 2025 where battles will be fought all over Myanmar.
The Prime Minister said this at the launch of “Eain Pyan Mae Hlaing Ayeyar Tai” Campaign on January 21.
He warned that no one can now stop the revolution that is entering its fourth year, that no one can break down the momentum from the strong foundation of ethnic revolutionary organisations and the decisiveness of the new generation, that battles will be fought all over the country in 2025 for the waves returning home, and that Ayeyarwaddy Division will become an important war front in 2025.
“Now the revolution to change the era and system has reached a state where it cannot be stopped by anyone, thanks to the strong foundation built by the efforts of the ethnic revolutionary organizations over the years and the momentum from the decisiveness of the new generation. Our revolution, combined by strong wills and practical administration, will be stopped by no one. We have yet to retrieve our home, Myanmar, from the hands of the robbers. It is undeniable that the people of Ayeyarwaddy Division have bear with the criticisms while silently fulfilling their roles for the revolution. Ayeyarwaddy Division will also become an important war front in 2025 when battles will be fought all over the country,” said Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than.
Currently, the revolutionary forces led by the Arakan Army are attacking the junta camps in Ayeyarwaddy Division, Bago Division and Magway Division that are bordering Rakhine State, and in Ayeyarwaddy Division, battles have arrived at Shwetaungyan near Chaungtha Beach as well as Yekyi Township.
The NUG Prime Minister also remarked at the NUG Cabinet Meeting 3/2025 on January 21 that the current revolution has achieved so much satisfactory results compared to the revolutions throughout history but there have also been countless sacrifices.
“This time we will have to root out the tree known as military dictatorship. We are still persisting and doing our best despite the difficulties even now in order to achieve that,” explained the NUG Prime Minister.
