MAGWAY DIVISION – Magway Guerrilla Warfare (Magway Guerrilla Army) officer Kan Gyi Maung said that the administrator of Mi Au Aung Village, Thein Soe, was shot and killed in Taungdwingyi township, who was forcibly demanding military service fees.
On January 20th, around 10:00 a.m., Thein Soe, the administrator of Mi Au Aung Village in Taungdwingyi township, was killed on the spot by the revolutionary forces while he was inside his house. The revolutionary forces entered his house and opened fire, hitting him with 2 bullets and killing him on the spot.
Kan Gyi Maung said that the deceased administrator Thein Soe was executed because he had cooperated with the terrorist army and bullied the villagers by collecting military service fees by force and asking for exorbitant electricity bills.
“He forcefully demanded money from the people every month as military service fees. In addition, he threatened to demand exorbitant electricity bills, so we attacked him. If injustice continues to be done to the public, we will attack military informants, administrators, and departmental staff who are serving under the military council,” said Kan Gyi Maung, who is in charge of Magway Guerrilla Warfare.
The attack was carried out jointly by Magway Guerrilla Warfare (Magway Guerrilla Army) and Taungdwingyi Fighter Force (LPDF), and they promised that they will attack until the military regime is eradicated. The Magway Guerrilla Army has informed the people to cooperate and not to live closely to the terrorist junta council soldiers.
