BAGO DIVISION – An official from the People’s Defense Organization – Oktwin said that 6 people, including 1 officer and 1 administrator, were killed and 5 guns were seized from the terrorist army that came out to patrol near the village of Thandai Khin, Oktwin township, Bago division.
It is reported that the fighting squad from People Defense Body of Oktwin township attacked 1 officer and 7 soldiers of the junta council, including the governor, who came out to patrol near Thandai Khin village, Oktwin township.
During this attack, 3 soldiers, including 1 officer from the terrorist army, 2 policemen and the administrator were killed on the spot and 1 soldier escaped with wounds.
It is reported that 1 MA-3 rifle, 1 MA-11 rifle, 2 G-3 rifles, 5 MA cartridges, 4 boxes of G-3 cartridges, 1 UZI gun, 1 UZI cartridge, 1 grenade and 2 daggers were confiscated by People Defense Forces of Oktwin township.
“We attacked because the war dogs (junta soldiers) and police were arresting people to force them to serve in the military,” said an official from the People’s Defense Body – Oktwin.
It is reported that Thandai Khin village, where the attack took place, is a village adjacent to the Oktwin and is located near the old Yangon-Mandalay road. Revolutionary soldiers retreated without any harm.
