SAGAING DIVISION – Mr. Baik, the leader of Chindwin Dynamite People’s Defence Force (Salingyi) reported that four junta forces were killed after the junta troops that came out of Salingyi Police Station for guard duty were attacked.
It is said that the revolutionary forces launched the attack when eight junta troops stationed at Salingyi Police Station came out for guard duty at around 9:45 a.m. on January 18.
Four junta forces were killed in the attack while the remaining four reportedly ran away.
Revolutionary forces also carried out a mine attack on three junta forces that came out to set up sentries at the Salingyi Intersection later that day around 11 a.m.
“We carried out two attacks just today (January 18). We attacked once at their time for patrol and a mine attack with the heavy weapons coalition. We attacked them mainly because they have been coming out daily to do patrols, inspect and abduct civilians. If they continue to come out, we will continue to attack,” said Mr. Baik.
He also urged the revolutionary citizens inside the country and abroad to contribute to the revolution regardless of it’s just the price of a bullet so that the revolutionary forces can continue fighting.
The attacks were carried out by Chindwin Dynamite People’s Defence Force (Salingyi), Salingyi Heavy Weapons Allied Coalition, Yinmabin District Battalion 35, Company 3, Taungpanni Special Guerrilla Force (Salingyi), SPDF (Salingyi) and Solo Aung Gyi (Salingyi).
