SAGAING DIVISION – The terrorist junta soldiers that came out to conduct clearance on the Chaung U – Myinmu Road in Chaung U Township were attacked with mines and two including a lieutenant were killed, reported Bo. Moegyo from Lighting Company (Monywa District Battalion 12, Company 3).
Revolutionary forces reportedly attacked the junta forces numbering around 30 that came out to sweep mines on the Chaung U – Myinmu Road at around 9:15 a.m. on January 18.
During the attack, it is said that two including a lieutenant were killed and three were injured. The injured were also said to be in serious condition as two of the injured reportedly lost a leg while the last one lost an arm.
“The dog column (junta column) numbering 30 was attacked with mines as they arrived at the Chaung U – Myinmu Road. Two including a lieutenant were killed. Three were heavily wounded. Two of the injured junta dogs (junta forces) lost a leg. The other one lost an arm. We were able to confirm it via reliable sources,” said Bo. Moegyo.
The attack was said to have been carried out by Lighting Company (Monywa District Battalion 12, Company 3) together with Eleven People’s Defence Force, Nway Oo Brothers Column and Monywa District Battalion 15.
