MAGWAY DIVISION – The terrorist junta council set fire to two villages in Myaing Township, burning down over 20 houses while the People’s Defence Force (PDF) forces were rescuing the civilians trapped inside the villages due to poor health, reported Mr. Victor from Victor Guerrilla Force.
Starting around 6 p.m. on January 18, the supply column of the terrorist junta council raided and torched Kyaungkone Village and Thanhara Village in Myaing Township.
Due to the junta arson, 20 houses from Kyaungkone Village and 4 houses from Thanhara Village were burnt down. Meanwhile, PDF forces are rescuing the elders who couldn’t leave their homes due to poor health.
“The column of junta dogs (junta forces) delivering rations to the Pyu Saw Htee base in Kanni Village torched Kyaungkone Village and Thanhara Village. 24 houses were burned down. After the junta dogs left, our PDF soldiers are rescuing the elders who stayed behind at home due to poor health,” said Mr. Victor.
That terrorist junta column had come out to deliver rations to Kanni Village and they reportedly torched the villages in retaliation as they had suffered heavy losses, repeatedly attacked by revolutionary forces along the way.
