MAGWAY DIVISION – The terrorist junta army launched airstrikes by using two 500-pound bombs on Thar Gaung Village in Yesagyo Township, killing two civilians and injuring three others, according to an official of Yesagyo People’s Defence Force (PDF).
On January 16, at around 1:00 a.m., the atrocious junta army dropped two 500-pound bombs with its two fighter jets on Thar Gaung Village in Yae Lel Kyun area of Yesagyo Township, without a fight. A young man in his 16 and a man in his 55 were reportedly killed and three others were injured by those attacks.
“The junta army dropped two 500-pound bombs with its two fighter jets on Thar Gaung Village in Yae Lel Kyun area of Yesagyo Township. There are two fatalities, a 16-year-old young man and a 55-year-old man, and three injured. The junta’s fighter jets bombarded on the northern part of Thar Gaung Village. The bombs landed in the fields. As those were 500-pounds bombs, the victims were killed by the shrapnel of bombs. The exact number of houses damaged has not yet been confirmed,” said the official of Yesagyo PDF.
The aerial bombings of the military junta caused tremors in Yesagyo Town, and the residents were also woken up from their sleep.
