MAGWAY DIVISION – Repeated attacks on the terrorist junta column delivering rations to the Pyu Saw Htee base in Kanni Village, Myaing Township killed ten junta forces, reported Myaing Supporting Battalion (MSB).
The terrorist junta convoy that came out of Myaing to deliver rations to the Pyu Saw Htee base on January 13 was first attacked with explosives by revolutionary forces near Inyaung Village and again near Watkhaung Village, followed by a confrontation near Kyaungkone Village. It is said that five junta forces were killed and nine were injured.
Then on January 14, the same junta column was attacked twice near Kyaungkone Village and Kanni Village, resulting in three junta deaths and injuring 17.
In addition, two junta soldiers reportedly died after stepping on the mines planted near Kanni Village by revolutionary forces.
The attacks were carried by the revolutionary forces supported by MSB: Pakokku District Battalions 2, 6, 7, 14, 15, 17, Shwebo District Battalion 25, Myaing People’s Defence Organisation, Pakokku Earthquake, Anyarmyay Coalition, Wolf Guerrilla Force and local PDF and PDO teams and it is said that five revolutionary soldiers were also injured.
