MYANMAR – Acting President Duwa Lashi La said that the National Unity Government-NUG will be reinforced with talented leaders from the ethnic alliance forces, and that it is necessary to build a coalition army with ethnic alliances.
He made this remark at the National Unity Government cabinet meeting 2/2025 held on January 14.
He said that “it is necessary to build a coalition army in order to continue implementing broader revolutionary processes in a revolution against military dictatorship, and that the NUG government must be filled up with talented people who can lead from the ethnic alliance forces.
“I think there needs to be a practical coalition in building strong alliances with ethnic allies. I believe that we will be able to continue to implement broader revolutionary processes than the current situation by adding new energy to our government with people capable of leading from the allied forces,” said the Acting President.
In addition, he recommended to reform the three P’s (People’s Administration Body, People’s Defense Force and People’s Security Force), and that more must be done than just reforming. He reminds us that the three P’s system is very important in direct righteousness.
“The foundation of the revolution is the people. Those people are in contact with our three P’s system every day. In order to gain public support and strong public trust, the ability and ethics of the three bodies that are in direct contact with the public is a particularly important issue. Therefore, the three P’s mechanism of people’s defense, people’s administration and people’s security organizations are very important. We should not slow down in implementing the three P’s reform. I think it should be more than just reform,” said the Acting President.
Similarly, the soldiers under the terrorist junta council have been invited to take refuge in the people’s arms, and the president urged that it is important to demolish the pillars of the junta council and abolish the military dictatorship.
