KACHIN STATE: Hpakant Strike- Public Network Against the Military Dictator was known to have demanded a quick release of Mother Suu (Daw Aung San Suu Kyi) and the political prisoners on World Mother’s Day on January 13.
Hpakant Hmaw Hlae Strike reportedly rallied, holding the banners “May Mother Suu (Daw Aung San Suu Kyi) and the political prisoners Release From Prison Quickly, With Loving Kindness World’s Mothers”, “Moving Forward in Unison, To Achieve Ultimate Victory.”
The revolutionary protesters also recited the slogans “Justice, Independence and Equity and Equality Prevail on Our Land.”
