BAGO DIVISION- The administrator Ko Oo who has been oppressing the locals in Zigone Township by shouting, “I have both the PDF and military army on my side” and his co-administrator Myint Htwe were reportedly shot by female PDF officers and one was killed, said an official from Bago-based Gyobinkauk PDF force (BTZM GBK PDF).
On January 10, around 3 p.m., administrator Ko Oo and co-worker Myint Htwe were reportedly shot by PDF police officers, and during the attack, the co-administrator Myint Htwe was killed on the spot, while the administrator Ko Oo had escaped.
These 2 governors are oppressing the locals in various ways, claiming that they can handle both the PDF and military troops. Therefore PDF forces took action.
“The guy named Ko Oo escaped. The associate Myint Htwe was shot and killed on the spot. Myint Htwe claimed that his nephews are PDF and that he could easily govern than village. He had been threatening and bullying the people in the village saying that the military is also on his side,” said an official from the BTZM GBK PDF.
