MANDALAY DIVISION – Locals reported that the terrorist junta council dropped more than 30 bombs on the eastern part of Mogoke Town that is under control of the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), by using a Y-12 aircraft.
On January 8, at around 1:00 p.m., the junta Y-12 aircraft dropped over 30 bombs on gemstone plots in the golf course and Ma Soe Yein Monastery in the eastern part of Mogoke Town, but the extent of the damage has not yet been confirmed.
“The extent of the damage caused by the Y-12’s bombing on gemstone plots in the golf course and Ma Soe Yein Monastery in the eastern part of Mogoke Town is not yet known. The number of bombs exceeded 30. The main targets were the golf course and Nyaung Thone Pin,” said a local.
Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) acquired Mogoke Town on 25 July 2024.The TNLA reported that the terrorist military junta army bombed Mogoke Town on November 11, killing 16 men and four women, and injuring 13 others.
