SHAN STATE – It was reported that the terrorist junta forces carried out drone strikes on Hti Son Village in Hsihseng Township, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, Shan (South) State, and two residential houses were burned and destroyed, according to Mr. Khun Rein Yan, Information Officer of Pa-O National Liberation Army (PNLA).
On January 6, at around 9:00 a.m., the terrorist junta forces stationed at Loi Htike Village of Hsihseng Township, dropped two bombs with a grenade-equipped drone on Hti Son Village, burning down two residential houses. The PNLA troops had to risk their lives to put out the fire.
“The terrorist junta forces stationed at Loi Htike Village launched drone strikes on Hti Son Village. They bombed the village with drones almost every day, and the villagers did not dare to stay in the village. There are more than 200 houses in that village, and 24 houses were destroyed by the junta’s incendiaries, drone strikes and artillery attacks. There were no civilian casualties in yesterday’s incident. The house was burned down by the junta’s drone strikes. So after we received the news, our troops risked their lives to put out the fire so that it would not spread to other houses,” said Mr. Khun Rein Yan.
There were over 200 houses in Hti Son Village that were attacked by junta’s drone strikes. The terrorist army has been bombing with drones and firing heavy weapons every day, forcing the villagers to flee, and 24 houses have been destroyed and burned down.
