MON STATE- In Ye Township, on December 31, the joint forces of the revolution fired three rounds of 60-mm weapons into the camp of Infantry Batallion 583, stationed in the village. The official of the People’s Defense Force (PDF), southern war zone, said that one Junta captain was killed and 10 others were injured.
In the 60mm artillery fire attack, one round reportedly exploded near the center watch tower of IB-583, one exploded in the middle of the camp and the last one exploded near the fence.
It has been reported that a civilian was injured when the Terrorist War Council returned fire with heavy weapons that landed near the village.
The attack was carried out by the People’s Defense Force (PDF) Southern Military Region, Strategy-33, Dawna Battalion, and the allied forces, according to the statement released.
