MANDALAY DIVISION – It was reported that the terrorist junta army carried out third time aerial bombings with three powered parachutes on Shwe Si Gyi Village in Taungtha Township, killing Ms. Myint Than in her 58, and injuring 12-year-old child, according to an official of Taungtha People Action Committee.
On January 5, at around 4:20 a.m., the terrorist junta’s three powered parachutes taking off from Meiktila, dropped bombs on Shwe Si Gyi Village.
During the attack, the bombs exploded on the residential in Shwe Si Gyi Village, destroying a house, killing 58-year-old Ms. Myint Than on the spot, injuring a 12-year-old child, and killing two cows and injuring two others.
“The house that was dropped by the junta’s bombs was destroyed. A person was killed and a child was injured,” said an official Taungtha People Action Committee.
Those powered parachutes are loud and noisy devices, and the Taungtha People Action Committee has urged people to be especially vigilant as they have limited time to avoid them.
The terrorist army reportedly dropped bombs with powered parachutes on Taungtha Township, near Kyaung Kone Village, at around 5:00 a.m., on January 3 and Za Yet Gyi Village, on 5 December 2024.
