BAGO DIVISION- The Khapaung Hall, where junta security forces for the Independence Day celebration at Maida Field are staying, was detonated by a remote-controlled mine, stated an official of Taungoo Special Urban Guerrilla Force.
At around 6:45 p.m. on December 28, a powerful remote-controlled mine detonated the office of Khapaung Hall as a military target, where the terrorist military council soldiers who were providing security for the Independence Day celebration were staying. The junta casualties are still under investigation,” said the PDF official.
The mission was carried out to mark the anniversary of their PDF Force renamed to Taungoo Regional Special Urban Guerrilla Force, and that they would continue to carry out revolutionary missions.
The people in Taungoo Township are also requested not to go to the commemorations or festivities organized by the military coup council and to stay as far away from the military council forces as possible, another PDF official stated.
