MYANMAR – An official from Voice of Mandalay reported that a civilian was killed by junta artillery fire in Aungkantha Village of Madaya Township, Mandalay Division.
The terrorist junta forces stationed at the football field in Madaya fired heavy weapons into Aungkantha Village around 11 a.m. on December 22 although there was no battle and the junta shelling is said to have killed one civilian and injured three.
“The junta dogs (junta forces) shelled the village without there being any fighting. The identity of the deceased civilian is not yet known,” said the official from Voice of Mandalay.
Similarly in Seikphyu Township of Magway Division, a young man was injured after the junta forces chased and fired at a group of young people on motorcycles, reported an official from Young Revolution Front.
The terrorist junta soldiers stationed at the west gate of Defense Industry 22 in Seikphyu Township reportedly opened fire at the young people on motorcycles on December 20 and the injured young man is said to be heavily wounded.
“The guard junta dogs at the west gate of Defense Industry 22 fired at two motorcycles that entered the wrong road and one young man was hit in the abdomen and had to receive six stitches,” said the official from Young Revolution Front.
