MYANMAR – Natogyi People’s Defence Force (PDF) announced that the PDF forces conducted inspections on the Yangon-Mandalay Highway and updated the civilians on the situation of the revolution.
Natogyi PDF, Myingyan District Battalion 4-10 carried out searches at the 318th mile post on the Yangon-Mandalay Highway around 10:30 a.m. on December 23 and warned the people of potential battles and advised them to avoid travelling on the highway unnecessarily, to not go out at night, and to stop and stay at the nearest safe place during the time of battle.
“When travelling, pay attention to what is happening where. Do not enter the battle zone when there’s ongoing fighting and stop at your present position. When travelling in private cars, please roll down your windows. We can only do this much now to avoid harm to the people. There will soon be battles on this highway,” an official from the Natigyi PDF informed the public.
It is said that the junta forces have arrived at the 318th mile post and set up sentries at present.
Natogyi PDF and Myingyan District Battalion 4-10 worked together to inform the people of the risks and safety instructions on the highway and the revolutionary forces requested the people to join the revolution by following the rules as the revolutionary is about to turn four.
