MAGWAY DIVISION – The attack on terrorist junta forces that came out of infantry division 101 in Pakokku Township in a civilian car killed four junta forces, according to an official from Shwe Nyar Myae PDF.
Around 7 p.m. on December 15, revolutionary forces attacked the car with five junta forces on board near Thidar Street and Myoshaung Road from a close range.
Four junta forces were killed and the last one was heavily injured in the attack. Although the revolutionary forces tried to seize their weapons, they had to fall back as the car sped up and stopped near a junta checkpoint.
“We carried out the attack in Pakokku. We didn’t manage to get the weapons. Because the car came to a stop at a checkpoint of the junta dogs (junta forces). We attacked them from a close range near the checkpoint. Four junta dogs on board were killed. One was reportedly heavily wounded,” said the official from Shwe Nyar Myae PDF.
After the attack, the car used by junta forces was reportedly towed away by a crane. Although there was reckless gunfire from the junta forces, the revolutionary forces were able to return unharmed.
The attack was carried out by Myaing PDO Battalion 3 Company 4 and Shwe Nyar Myae PDF.
