MYANMAR – The terrorist junta council torched multiple places in Bhamo, Kachin State and a junta air raid killed an entire family of civilians, according to local people.
It is said that the junta council has been wrecking havoc after suffering heavy defeats during the battles in Bhamo and also conducting continuous air strikes.
“Most parts of Bhamo are on fire. An airstrike hit a home and reportedly killed an entire family. We don’t know the number of civilian casualties and the extent of damages yet,” said a resident.
Similarly, a junta column transporting rations in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Division is reported to have torched and destroyed two villages.
On December 10, the terrorist junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militants from Payan Village collected rations at No. 8 Military Training Regiment in Shwebo and torched and destroyed the houses in Thapyautha Village and Oatshikan Village on the Shwebo-Nyaungpintha Road on their way back.
“Pyu Saw Htee leader Aung Kyaw from Payan Village and his team went and collected rations at No. 8 Training Regiment in three trucks and three tractors. On their way back to Payan Village, they ransacked and set fire to the houses in Thapyautha and Oatshikan Villages. It is said that the tractors were sent to Pyu Saw Htee bases in Myinchin Village, Payan Village, Theelone Village and Zeephyukone Village. Because of that, farmers from nearby villages are concerned that the Pyu Saw Htee thugs would sneak into their fields and steal the crops,” said a resident.
The Shwebo-Nyaungpintha Road is under control of the junta council and Pyu Saw Htee militia and it is said that the Pyu Saw Htee criminals have seized the fields near the villages.
