MAGWAY DIVISION: The People Administration Body (PAB) announced that the civilians in Tilin to leave the town by December (31) as the military operations will be intensified in Tilin, Magway Division.
Tilin Township PAB announced the residents of Tilin to refute in the regions controlled by the National Unity Government of Myanmar (NUG).
The announced was published on December (5) by PAB as the special notices to the residents in Tilin.
The civilians in town are encouraged to refute in the regions controlled by the National Unity Government of Myanmar (NUG) and the junta’s forces and PyuSawHtee (militias) are urged to come back to legal fold, embracing the civilians as soon as possible.
The civilians, the People’s Administration Body (PAB), the People’s Defense Organization (PDO), the battalions and squadrons in the regions controlled by the National Unity Government (NUG) warmly welcome the civilians from Tilin.
It was warned that the consequences will not be considered if the people fail to leave the town in the given days.
“Some have been displaced. I think military junta’s supporters dare not live in the town. The controlled regions by the revolutionary forces are wider. The junta’s army can settle only in the town,” said by the local resident of Tilin.
It was known that the junta’s forces have been seen stationing in Shwehtee hall, the court, the office of general administration, the police station and the football pitch. PyuSawHtee (militias) are seen in some houses in the town.
“There could be intense battle. The revolutionary forces have warned the civilians,” as said by a local resident who has been displaced.
Five townships in Gangaw district such as Gangaw, Kyaw, Tilin, Kyaukhtu, Saw are called as Yaw region where the revolutionary forces are unitedly organised to oppose against the junta’s forces.
Tilin is at the border of Chin State. Not only Yaw People’s Defence Force (YPDF) but also Gangaw District Battalions have based in the region.
Tilin, resided by many Chin ethnics, is (97) miles far away from Pakokku.
