YANGON DIVISION – According to the accountable person of Rangoon Urban Column (RUC), the revolutionary forces attacked the entrance gate to the no. 106 Light Infantry Regiment using launchers in Mingaladon township, Yangon division.
At around 7:25 a.m. on December 3, the revolutionary comrades from Rangoon Urban Column (RUC) attacked the fascist junta council’s Light Infantry Regiment near Htauk Kyant-Hlawka, in Mingaladon township, using 79mm launchers.
During that attack, the junta council troops were injured. But the number of the junta council casualties are not yet known and the group situations are still under investigation. The revolutionary comrades managed to retreat successfully.
Mr. Ye Khaung, the accountable person of Rangoon Urban Column (RUC) mentioned that “we managed to retreat successfully after attacking the entrance to the no. 106 Light Infantry Regiment near Htauk Kyant-Hlawka, using 79mm launchers. According to the counter-intelligent team, the junta council troops were injured.”
