SHAN (SOUTH) STATE – Locals stated that the junta troop bombarded onto Saing Khun Village, Moe Bye Township, border of Karenni and Shan states, Shan (South) State on Tuesday (December 03) early morning.
On December 03 early morning from 3:03 a.m. to 3:41 a.m., the junta council’s fighter jets and Y12 aircrafts dropped at least over 30 bombs continuously onto Saing Khun Village, the western part of Pekon, Moe Bye Township.
“The junta force bombarded at the early morning which was on deep sleep. They released bombs a total of 9 times. They dropped bombs minutes apart from 3:03 a.m. to 3:41 a.m. There were said to be harms and damages. We could not verify details currently,” a person working as a Help and Rescue for Internal Displaced People elaborated.
The stated bombardment was said to be recognized by most of the civilians from Demoso and Moe Bye, and committed 9 times: one each on 3:03 a.m. and 3:07 a.m., five bombs on 3:14 a.m., four each on 3:19 a.m. and 3:23 a.m., five each on 3:26 a.m., 3:30 a.m., 3:34 a.m. and 3:38 a.m. and four bombs on 3:41 a.m. respectively.
Currently, the junta council has launched offense attack by increasing junta forces deployment at Pekon and Moe Bye sides. The junta council has launched offensive attack intending to seize back the territories being captured by the revolutionary forces and the military situation is said to be intense between local revolutionary forces and the junta troops.
