MANDALAY DIVISION – It was learned from CDM Captain Zin Yaw that the junta council issued an emergency instruction to move the personnel and to urgently move office supplies, including important departmental documents to a safe place in Mandalay.
It was stated in the office instruction letter published on August 8th from the Mandalay Land Registry Department, according to the current security situation, there is a need to draw up a plan for the emergency evacuation of the department’s important documents, office equipment and land surveying equipment and plans to move employees to a safe place.
Therefore, the township department heads have been instructed to draw up evacuation plans and submit them as soon as possible.
In addition, recently, the junta council in Mandalay has increased security and built bunkers with sandbags around the palace moat and installation of CCTVs are carried out where the Central Regional Military Headquarters is located. It is known that the increase of security soldiers inside and outside is being done.
Similarly, increasing barriers at police stations throughout Mandalay, increasing the construction of bunkers, patrolling, more slowdowns in front of the police station, gate inspection at the entrance and exit of the city, checking people’s mobile phones, more guest list checks have been made.
